my story

I never expected to become a tattoo artist. Saying that might as well be blasphemy to other tattooers . Back in 2004/05 what I wanted to be was a professional competitive gamer, I wanted to play Street Fighter and other fighting games and get paid to travel to tournaments. That was my dream.

Problem was I had no money. I grew up poor, I was a young kid with barely any money or skills and I needed cover entry fees and hotel & travel costs to all these tournaments. I did have a natural talent at drawing, and one day the opportunity came up to do tattoos for extra cash.

It wasn’t an easy start but I had many opportunities to get paid for doing tattoos on people. Without even realizing it I started to develop some real skills tattooing. When I discovered my potential, I started to take tattooing as seriously as I took gaming. Developing a style that could compete out in the world with other artists.

I had been tattooing since 2008, I had acquired my first body art practitioner registration in 2012 and since then I have been tattooing professionally in studios ever since.

my style

My style is a mix of Anime and geometric & blackwork. Clean black lines and stipple shading are my go tos. They all blend really well into each other and I love making tattoos look like they're popping out of a manga or TV show.

I wanted to bring something to tattooing once I started to take it seriously. While I liked drawing, what I liked drawing was the animes and characters of the video games that I was into.

What's crazy is in school they told me Anime was never going to become popular, yet here I am livin' the dream slingin' anime tats.
